Jack felt the surge and his first reaction was to touch his abdomen. He breathed a sigh of relief when he found no pouch. He stepped back, catching a glimpse of Daniel in a mirror. 'He needs a shave,' Jack thought, fingering the stubble. He turned, to watch his body, currently used by Teal'c, put his hands on the machine, with the man called Machello, who was actually Daniel. Daniel was now in Jack's body, Teal'c in Machello. He saw the confusion on his own face, but it was pure Daniel. "Oh Dannyboy," he whispered, crooking a finger at him.
"Jack?" Daniel, in Jack's body, did a double take, but walked over. They watched as Teal'c and Machello put their hands on the device, the switch done. It was now Jack and Daniel's turn. They were about to put their hands on the device, when Machello spoke to Daniel, then quietly died. The room was silent for a moment, and, once again, Jack and Daniel were about to put their hands on the device.
But, being that Jack and Daniel lived Murphy's Law, the claxon sounded at that moment, followed by, "WE HAVE A SECURITY BREACH", and all else was forgotten, as SG1 headed to the armory on autopilot.
Sergeant Siler was there, coordinating as usual, and he handed Daniel an automatic.
Being Daniel was actually Jack, Siler found himself shoved aside, watching as 'Daniel' grabbed an MP-5, loaded it with extreme deftness, and a zat gun. Then he paused, grabbing two grenades, and a very large knife. "I just love this job," he grinned.
Sam grabbed a P-90, Teal'c his staff, and Daniel, in Jack's body, just stood there.
"Would it be okay if I got a weapon?" Daniel asked quietly, in Jack's voice.
"Of course sir!" Siler nodded, handing him a P-90.
Daniel preferred a handgun, (actually he preferred no gun, but that was no longer an option), but took it anyway. He looked around and a smile came to his face. He picked up a mini-rocket launcher and shrugged. "I always wanted to be Rambo."
Siler looked at him as if he were insane, then found himself knocked over as Jack barreled past. "Get on your feet and do your job!"
Being that the voice and face belonged to Daniel, soft-spoken Doctor Jackson, Siler wondered if both men had finally gone over the edge.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
The team ran into General Hammond, who looked at Jack. "We have a security breach at level thirty. Since that level is incomplete, we installed only minimal visual surveillance. We can't lock the intruder down. Colonel O'Neill, I want your team down there."
"Yessir!" Daniel's voice said firmly. Four pair of eyes stared at him in confusion. "Um, sir," he chuckled, "Daniel and I didn't get a chance to switch back, remember?"
Hammond rolled his eyes heavenward. "Only to SG1," he sighed. "Okay, Doctor Jackson, er, I mean Colonel O'Neill, you just do what you have to do."
Jack nodded, the team moving to the elevator. They got in, Sam and Teal'c staring at the two men.
"So," Sam nodded, looking at Daniel, "you're Colonel O'Neill."
"Jesus Jack," Daniel groaned, bending his legs, "your knees are stiff."
"They're forty-three year old knees Daniel," Jack sighed, as the elevator stopped. "Heads up, boys and girls." He smiled at Daniel. "Take care of that body, kid. It's the only one I have."
"You too."
The elevator doors opened and SG1 aimed their weapons, fully prepared for a fight. The team saw the enemy right in front of the elevator. It stared at them, they stared back, and, finally, Daniel's voice broke the quiet.
"For cryin' out loud! It's a cat!" He bent down, picking it up. "And a kitten at that." Jack turned to Teal'c. "Here ya go, T. Someone to share those chilly nights with."
"Thank you O'Neill. I will take good care of it."
"General Hammond," Sam said into the radio, "all is secure. We'll....show you when we get back up there."
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
They stopped at the armory, as did everyone else, returning the heavy artillery. Siler was there, and he tilted his head, keeping his distance from Jack and Daniel.
"Didn't get a chance to use this," Daniel sighed, putting down the rocket launcher. He turned to Siler. "Um, can I take that on our next mission?"
The Sergeant just nodded, dumbstruck, wondering why Colonel O'Neill was asking permission to take a weapon.
"Thanks," Daniel grinned.
"You're welcome Colonel," Siler replied, quite thankful when SG1 left the armory. "And they say SG7 is weird?"
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
"Captain Carter," General Hammond was saying, "this complex was put on full alert because of a cat?"
"She probably tripped a security monitor sir. I'll fix it so it registers the size of any intruders."
"You do that."
"I am keeping the kitten sir," Teal'c said.
"Go ahead," Hammond sighed. "I don't care." He turned to Jack and Daniel. "Now, about the two of you...."
"Ready to switch back anytime," Jack said, nodding. "Daniel can have his body back."
"Yeah," Daniel chuckled. "I'd like a newer model. This one is old and broken down."
"Very funny," Jack snorted, ruffling his own hair. The laugh that came out of his body though, was pure Daniel.
"That may be a problem," the General said. "When the lockdown occurred the two corridors leading to the medical facility were sealed and secured. We haven't been able to get them open yet. The computer is not responding to any commands."
"I'll get on it immediately sir," Sam turned to go, but turned back. "Is anyone trapped in there?"
"No," the General replied, "but the device to change them back is inside. So until we can get it open, the two of you will have to remain...as you are."
"Then cut through," Jack suggested. "Use Teal'c's staff. Or C4."
"Colonel, those will be used as a last resort. Those doors are difficult to install; if we can open them, we will."
"Yeah Jack," Daniel said, smiling. "You always want to blow things up."
"I'll work as quickly as I can guys." Sam smiled at them. "Get you back to your old selves in no time." She headed towards the computer room.
"I shall take my kitten to the cafeteria and get her some milk," Teal'c said. He brought the kitten's face to his ear, listening to the 'mews'. "They subsist on tuna fish, do they not?"
"Teal'c," Jack grinned, "give her some salmon. Only the best for SG1's new mascot."
"And you have to name her," Daniel added.
"I shall ponder names," Teal'c nodded, walking off with the kitten.
"And nothing strange!" Jack yelled. "Come on Daniel. Let's go get some food." He paused. "Oh, and Danny, my body does *not* enjoy spinach, or any of that other health crap you eat."
"I have some work to do Jack," Daniel said. "I'd just like to go to my office for a while."
"Whatever floats your boat," Jack shrugged. "I'm hungry, or rather, *you're* hungry. Hey Teal'c, wait up! I'll help you think of a name."
"I'll just go to my office sir," Daniel said quietly.
General Hammond shook his head. "Other General's get nice, *normal* commands. And what do I get? *Those two*." He sighed, heading to his office. "I need a drink."
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
"How do you feel about Tam'rac?" Teal'c asked, as they were waiting on line.
"Is that today's special?" Jack deadpanned, grabbing an eclair for his appetizer.
"No. Today's special is beef stew." Teal'c narrowed his eyes at Jack, the corners of his mouth turning up a bit.
"Very funny," Jack retorted. "So, who is this Tam'rac? And why do you wanna name the cat after him?" Jack grabbed a burger, loading it with every topping imaginable.
"Tam'rac was one of the finest Jaffa that ever lived...and my idol."
Jack nodded. "Then Tam'rac it is." Jack picked up a plate of spinach. He studied it, and shook his head. "There is *no* way I am eating seaweed. I don't care what Daniel likes." Jack picked up a plate of the greasiest french fries he could find. "This body needs to experience the finer cuisine in life."
Holding the kitten in his hand, Teal'c picked up the entire tray of sliced salmon. "Do you think this is enough?"
"T, that's enough for three kittens."
"O'Neill, I will be sharing with Tam'rac."
"Oh. Okay. Then ya need this." Jack picked up some cream cheese. "And this." Jack handed him a bagel. "Trust me. Nothing like bagels and lox. I learned that when I lived in New York."
"I would like to visit New York." Teal'c said. "The Big Apple. I wish to wander the streets at night, with my staff, eradicating the scum that prey on the weak and helpless."
"I knew we shouldn't have watched 'Death Wish'," Jack sighed. He watched Teal'c's mouth twitch again. "Ya know, I liked you better *before* the sense of humor kicked in."
"Sweet," Teal'c said.
"Hey, just because we shared bodies, doesn't give you the right to steal my lines."
The sound of choking came from behind them and they both turned to Feretti, who was turning crimson.
"You okay?" Jack asked.
Feretti caught his breath, nodding. "Oh yeah, Daniel, just fine." He stared at Teal'c, then Jack, then the kitten.
"SG1's new mascot and cause of the security alert earlier." Jack grinned as he introduced the kitten. "Don't ask. His name is Tam'rac." Feretti continued to stare. "Lou, is something the matter? Your face is all red."
"Absolutely nothing. Uh, catch you guys later. Reports to finish, and all that crap." The major left quickly, wondering if he should have his hearing checked.
"Weird. So T, whatcha drinkin'?"
"I do not know O'Neill."
"Okay then, I'll choose. Milk for...Tam'rac, OJ for you, Yoo Hoo for me." Jack put three bottles on his tray. "Hey, I like Yoo-Hoo." He took out his wallet, rather Daniel's, but Teal'c shook his head.
"My meals are part of my...salary," he said.
"You don't pay?" Jack asked.
Teal'c shook his head, took his tray, and went to a table.
'I'm gonna let him get *my* meals from now on.' Jack got to the cashier, and smiled at her, ready to pay.
She smiled back. "Aw, Daniel, you don't have to pay. You know we *never* charge you."
"Thanks," Jack said, giving her what he hoped to be one of Daniel's thousand watt smiles. 'This is a good thing,' Jack thought. 'I can get Daniel 'I don't mind staying home all the time and staring at my fish' Jackson, a date.' Aloud he continued, "So, whatcha doing Friday night?"
She cocked an eyebrow at him. "Oh, so you're playing my side of the fence now?"
Jack did a double take, slightly confused. She couldn't have said *that*...could she? "Your side of the fence?"
"Well Daniel, if you're going to start playing with girls, I guess I don't mind being the first."
"Danny likes...." he mumbled something unintelligible.
"Daniel, are you okay?"
"Huh? Oh yeah, fine." Jack actually gave her a genuine smile. "About Friday, uh, I was just thinking a movie. You know, as friends."
"Damn," she sighed. "And here I was thinking I'd get me a piece of your fine ass."
She was flirting with him...with Daniel, Jack realized. But if Daniel liked men, and she knew...'She *has* been here for a while,' Jack thought, 'and Daniel *does* have a lot of friends.' He shrugged, still smiling. "Sorry."
"Ah well," she smiled back, "if you ever decide you like women, remember I'm here." Her eyes moved over his shoulder. "Major Davis is coming behind you."
Jack turned, swearing that Davis' hand was about to grab Daniel's ass.
"Hello Daniel."
"Major." Jack picked up his tray, heading toward Teal'c.
Paul followed. "So, have you reconsidered my dinner invitation?"
Jack stopped dead in his tracks. "Your dinner invitation?"
"Yeah. We could go to La Maison. Fine French cuisine, romantic atmosphere. C'mon Daniel. Please say yes."
Jack narrowed his eyes, suddenly protective and possessive of his archaeologist. And, for the rest of his life he would *never* be able to comprehend why he said what he said at that very moment.
"If you don't leave Dan...me alone, Jack will gut you and bury you so far in the mountains, that they'll never find the body."
"You...you said you weren't involved with him," Paul's voice cracked.
Jack chuckled. "That was then." He shrugged and went to his table.
Paul just stood there, disbelieving. 'Oh God, if O'Neill finds out that I....' He swallowed hard, gathering his wounded pride, and slowly walked over to Jack and Teal'c. "Uh, Daniel, you're not going to say anything, are you?"
"You mean to Jack?" Jack asked, giving Daniel's tone a sarcastic bite.
The major nodded, eyes wide and more than a little terrified. Jack O'Neill's temper was well known, he had seen it himself first hand, and if he and Daniel....
"No, Paul, you have nothing to worry about." Jack raised an eyebrow. "Yet."
"Cool. You don't say a word to the colonel and I fade into the woodwork." He backed away, almost sprinting out of the cafeteria.
"O'Neill, may I inquire...." Teal'c started.
"T, did you know that Daniel liked men? Or that Paul Davis has a thing for him?" Jack blurted it out without thinking, immediately biting his tongue. He had just outed Daniel to Teal'c the way the woman had done with him.
"I did," Teal'c nodded.
"Ya did? How come you never said anything? I thought we were buds!"
"It was not my place to say, and I am sure DanielJackson would never do anything with MajorDavis."
"Yeah? And why are you so sure?" Jack picked up his burger, ready to take a bite.
"Because he is in love with someone else." Teal'c took a bite of his bagel. "You were right O'Neill. Salmon with bagel and cream cheese is extremely good."
Jack just blinked at him, dumbfounded, putting the burger down. "Daniel is in love with someone?"
"Yes."
"And how come I never noticed? He's my best friend. Hell, I'm Black Ops trained and I never knew he dated men. How did he hide this? And does everyone know but me?"
"O'Neill, everyone does not know, although DanielJackson has never hidden it."
"When did you find out?" Jack almost snarled.
"SamanthaCarter and I were going to dinner some months ago and saw him come out of a restaurant with a man. They exchanged a kiss, and it was clearly not a kiss of friendship."
"Carter knows?" Jack asked, eyes wide. "And you don't care?"
"Among the Jaffa, warrior bonding is not uncommon. And CaptainCarter says it is a good thing that he does not stay at home at all times, spending his evenings with his fish."
Jack almost chuckled; they all knew Daniel's habits too well. He kept his face neutral, taking a deep breath. "And who is this woman...I mean man...that Daniel has a hard-on for? I'd like to have a chat with him about it."
Teal'c finished his food, picked up his cat, and stood. "O'Neill, you need only look in a mirror to have that chat." The Jaffa then gave Jack a rare thing...a genuine smile. "Daniel's eyes, when they look upon you, reflect all the love he has. You have watched him, this is true, but you have never truly looked. If you had, you would have seen."
Jack smiled back. "You're a romantic Teal'c. I never would have guessed it."
Teal'c leaned down, almost whispering. "You will not tell anyone of this, correct O'Neill? It would ruin my...hard ass reputation."
"Your rep is safe." Teal'c nodded to him, and left, holding the kitten, purring to it. "That cat is going to ruin it for you."
Looking down at his plate, Jack realized his appetite was gone. Too many thoughts ran through his mind. 'Danny's gay. But what about Sha'uri? Bisexual? Nothing wrong with that Jack. You've been playing both sides since you were nineteen.' He stood, heading for his own office, needing to sort things out. 'And it's a good thing you're stationed here. This has got to be the only place where 'don't ask, don't tell' doesn't exist.' He chuckled. 'Hell, they gotta give you a little latitude when your job is to save the planet all the fucking time.'
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Paul Davis was heading to his temporary office, arms full of files, when Daniel walked out of his office, the two colliding.
"Aw geeze, sorry Paul," Daniel said apologetically, helping him pick up the files.
'Paul? Why is he calling me 'Paul'?' Davis tilted his head, wondering if Daniel had told Jack about the cafeteria. "Uh, have you talked to Daniel recently?"
It took Daniel a moment to remember he was in Jack's body. "Paul, there's something you should know...."
"I already do," Paul said quietly.
"Good," Daniel smiled at him. "Hey, I heard you managed to get that Pac-Man machine. Wanna play?"
"I didn't know you played Pac-Man."
"I told you I did. I can't play those newer games, like on Playstation, but Pac-Man, now that's a game I excel at."
Paul tilted his head, a bit confused. "You told me....?"
"Yeah, when we were at O'Malley's and you challenged me. Remember?"
"Oh my God. Daniel?"
"Yeeaahh," Daniel drawled. "Uh, Paul? I thought you said you knew what was going on."
"We may be talking about two different things. What are *you* talking about?"
"That machine that switched our bodies...." Daniel then went into an explanation of what had happened, finishing with, "....and now Jack and I are stuck this way until Sam can get the doors open."
"Um, Daniel, are you involved with Jack?"
"No. He doesn't even know about my...private life. When I came back from Abydos, and was assigned to SG1, I had a talk with General Hammond. He took that little bit of information out of my file so nobody would find out, *especially* Jack. And why do you want to know if I'm involved with him?"
"Because we had a conversation in the cafeteria."
"About what?"
"I asked him out, and he didn't seem too happy about me asking you out." Paul told an abbreviated version of his talk with Jack, leaving out the threats he had received, and the fact that the colonel had insinuated a relationship between himself and Daniel. Paul watched as Daniel grew pale. "Daniel, I'm sorry. I thought it was you."
Daniel went back into his office, Paul following.
"I said I was sorry."
"I know. Please leave. I want to be alone for a while."
Paul nodded and opened the door. "I'm sorry."
Daniel gave him a wan smile. "I don't hate you. We're still friends, no matter what."
The moment the door closed behind him Daniel locked it, sat at his desk, and put his head in his arms.
Jack knew about him now. And if Jack didn't force him into resigning from the SGC, he would most definitely transfer him to another team.
He would never find Sha'uri, never see her smile again.
He would never travel to another world with Jack.
Sha'uri would be lost to him forever. He would never hold her in his arms again.
Jack wouldn't want to be his friend anymore. No more Jell-O wrestling or Avalanche games, two things he was secretly beginning to enjoy. Yeah, it was fun when Teal'c, Sam, and even Janet had tagged along, but what made the nights memorable was the time spent with Jack. Just *Jack*. Not *Colonel O'Neill*. The two men, Daniel had learned, were different people.
He picked up the lone photograph of his wife, taken so many years ago by Lou Feretti, on that first trip to Abydos. "I'm sorry."
He'd never share another inane conversation with Jack. He chuckled as he thought of a few of the subjects they had 'discussed'....Do MRE's have any nutritional value? They had both decided an emphatic *NO*. Could Schwarzenegger or Stallone survive a fight with a Goa'uld? Both men laughed themselves silly over that one, but did decide that 'Dirty Harry' could kick Goa'uld ass. And if they could find some way to beam Barney the Dinosaur into the Goa'uld ships, the Goa'uld would definitely surrender.
But now Daniel sat quietly by himself, wiping away the few tears that began to trickle down his face.
No more renting a couple of videos and ordering Pizza on Saturday night since both men were always dateless. For Jack, it was because the women on base were too scared to get involved with the 2IC, and he had virtually no time to seek companionship outside the SGC. As for Daniel, he wouldn't date women because of Sha'uri, and had become so paranoid about Jack finding out he was bisexual that he hadn't dated a man in almost seven months. 'And anyway,' he thought, 'who wants to date a guy who doesn't even know if he'll be on the planet next week?'
Hell, he'd be lucky if Jack shared a beer with him every third Friday.
He blinked, mind racing, going over his thoughts over the last few moments. Everything came back to Jack. Yes, he wanted to find Sha'uri, she was his wife, but to lose Jack would kill him.
And Daniel Jackson had what could only be described as an epiphany.
"Holy shit! I'm in love with Jack." He turned to grab the box of tissues and caught sight of the face in the mirror, the face of the man who had become, essentially, his life...Jack O'Neill.
He smiled, remembering the first time he got to see 'Jack' on a mission, as opposed to 'Colonel O'Neill'. Nothing could have prepared him for his first experience with the man inside the uniform....
SG1 were being chased by a few Jaffa on P3C-992, finally reaching the Stargate, dialing home, the wormhole opening. Sam and Teal'c went through, and Daniel was about to follow, when he realized Jack wasn't beside him. Daniel turned around, mouth dropping open. He closed his eyes, then opened them again. Nope, not a hallucination.
Jack was pissing on the DHD.
And Jack calmly finished, tucked himself back in, grinning at Daniel. "Wait'll they dial. They'll touch it, feel it, sniff it, and...this is gonna be so great. Ya think we got time to reset the MALP to record whatever happens?"
"No Jack. We have to go home now."
"Aww, but Danny...."
"Jack, you pissed on the DHD, the SGC is probably wondering where we are, and there are a few Jaffa over there who don't look very friendly. Do you think we can go now?"
"You never let me have any fun," Jack pouted.
Daniel's mouth dropped open again, but he quickly composed himself...thanks, in part, to the Jaffa who were a bit too close for comfort. "Jack, if you're good, I'll play with you later. Okay? Can we PLEASE go now!"
"Can we play doctor, Doctor?" Jack asked.
Before Daniel could respond, Jack shoved him through the Gate. General Hammond greeted them on the other side, followed by their medical exams, the debriefing, and Jack disappearing before Daniel had a chance to talk to him. It had never been mentioned by either man, and Daniel had forgotten...until now.
"Nah." Daniel shook his head. "He was teasing me, just like always. I need a shower. Clear my head. Think happy thoughts. Yeah, sure Daniel. Happy thoughts. Maybe Jack will make it quick and painless."
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Jack was sitting in his office, trying his damnedest to focus. His brain was having a hard time reasoning things through. Daniel liked men. *This* was putting a new spin on his 'Danny fantasies'. They had always been about seducing a virginal Daniel, taking him to dinner, buying him gourmet coffee and chocolate, romantic music, slow dancing.
He couldn't help the chuckle, remembering the one time he had actually attempted a seduction...it backfired on him.
One night he took Daniel bowling, ordering Tequila shots with beer chasers, giving Daniel the chance to kick back and relax, and giving Jack the chance at an easier seduction. He watched Daniel carefully, not wanting him drunk, just mellow. He drove them back to Daniel's apartment, and Jack suggested they dance. Daniel agreed, and had even ended up slow-dancing in Jack's arms. When Jack leaned down to kiss him, he saw that Daniel had passed out. He picked Daniel up, carrying him to his bedroom, taking off his shoes and socks, and tucking him in. He sat there for a few minutes, taking in the angelic look, brushing the hair from Daniel's brow, leaving a kiss. "Sweet dreams, baby." He then retreated to the couch for the night.
Sometimes Jack hated being a gentleman.
And in the morning, Daniel had forgotten all about it.
Sometimes Jack *really* hated being a gentleman.
And now, Jack sat on the couch, closed his eyes, and indulged in more 'advanced' Danny fantasies. Fucking Daniel in Daniel's office, in Jack's kitchen, on Daniel's balcony. Sucking Daniel's cock in the briefing room, (during a briefing, no less), giving him head in Hammond's office, ('Oh yeah, now *that* is kinky, Colonel O'Neill'). Daniel fucking him in the control room, in the God dammed gate room, in front of everyone.
That last vision pushed Jack over the edge and he quickly undid his pants, taking his dick out. He stroked himself a few times, eyes opening and looking down, realizing this wasn't *his* hard-on. "YAH!" Jack pulled his hand off and jumped up. "Not your dick...not your dick...not your dick...." That worked...for all of about thirty seconds. That's when it hit Jack, that he could touch Daniel's body just like he'd always wanted to. "No, you can't do that. It's wrong." He nodded to himself. "Then again, it's *his* body but *my* feelings. No matter whose body it is, I'm bringing myself gratification...sort of." Content with this explanation to himself, Jack sat back on the couch. He closed his eyes, letting his last fantasy wash over him, Jack on his hands and knees in the Gate room, Daniel kneeling over him, cock sliding in and out of his ass.
It took Jack all of sixty seconds to shoot his load, and another two minutes for Jack to catch his breath. "Oh boy." He looked down at his hand, seeing the come, 'Daniel', bringing his hand to his mouth, swiping his tongue up the palm. "Oh Danny," he whispered to himself, "you taste sweeter then I ever dreamed." He closed his eyes, licking each finger slowly, savoring the moment. He eventually got some tissues, cleaning his dick, 'Daniel's dick', and the most amazing thing happened. Jack was getting hard again. These days he needed a good hour, if not longer, to 'recharge his batteries', as he liked to call it. "Oh fuck, the kid's body is ten years younger then mine. Just one more taste...." Jack began to fondle the rapidly swelling dick, wondering how many times Daniel's body could get it up. But Jack's luck was never that good. The phone rang a moment later, the General advising Jack that the doors were unsealed and he and Daniel could switch back.
"Yes sir," Jack drawled. "Be up in a few minutes." Pause. "Wrong? No, nothing's wrong sir. Just tired, I guess. I'll be happy to go home and get into my own bed for a while." Pause. "Yes sir. I know you'd like to go home too sir." Jack hung up the phone, and stared down at the still hard cock. Sighing, he tucked it back in and closed his pants. "Well, at least I got to touch him once."
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Jack was on his way to get Daniel, when he realized he had to wash his hands. 'I cannot go in there smelling like...Daniel.' He entered the locker room that was reserved for his team and heard the shower. Peeking around the corner, he caught sight of Daniel standing under the hot spray. Jack's breath hitched at the sight, his pants suddenly feeling two sizes too small in the crotch.
And then it hit him like a Zat gun blast. Jack's own body was causing this reaction to Daniel's body. Jack was staring at his own dick and getting a hard-on the likes of which he had *never*, in forty-three years, experienced. He quickly washed his hands, and turned to leave, adjusting his pants to try to get comfortable. 'Damn, Danny, how the hell do you deal with a hard on in these pants?' He opened the door, then heard the soft moan from the shower area. Thinking that maybe Daniel had slipped, Jack ran back in, stopping dead in his tracks.
Daniel was standing with his back to Jack, one palm braced against the wall. The other hand was further down, moving back and forth.
Jack's mouth dropped open as he realized what he was seeing. Daniel was jerking off...jerking *Jack's* body off. The sight made him dizzy with lust and he smiled, making a decision he knew in his gut was right. He made a quick call to the general, advising him Daniel was in the shower and they would get there as soon as Daniel finished. Moving back to the lockers Jack quickly undressed, heading back to the shower area. Jack knew he would have to be careful. One false move and Daniel might attempt one of those self-defense techniques Jack had shown him...and Daniel would probably hurt himself, or rather Jack's body, in the process.
When Daniel finished, his whole body going limp, Jack made his move. "Daniel...."
Daniel turned around at the sound of *his* voice, facing his own naked body. Jack watched his brown eyes get almost black, Daniel backing up against the wall. Jack moved forward, wrapping his arms around Daniel, whispering in his ear. "I love you Danny...no matter what body you're in."
Jack rubbed his cock against Daniel's, or was he rubbing Daniel's against his own? And did it matter anymore? Jack decided no.
"I know what my body likes, all the hot spots." Jack bit Daniel's shoulder, and Daniel felt his legs grow weak. "Oh yeah Danny. Let me show you." He moved his hands up, rolling Daniel's nipples, *his* nipples, until they were hard. Jack then pulled at them, biting Daniel's ear, hands kneading Daniel's ass, *his* ass. Jack captured his own lips, taking his time, amazed at the texture and taste. For some reason he had expected *his* lips to be hard, dry...old. What he felt was soft and gentle. Was it Daniel that was making his body taste so good? Or was it the body itself? And if so, how come no one had ever told him how nice it was?
"Jack," Daniel murmured, "please don't think." Daniel moved in for a kiss this time, sucking Jack's tongue into his mouth, or was it his tongue into Jack's mouth...oh God, it was too confusing for Daniel to think about, so he just stopped thinking with his brain. It was a smart move. They came up for air, Daniel swallowing hard, catching his breath. "What did I tell you to do, Jack?"
"Stop thinking," Jack moaned, mouth covering Daniel's yet again, sucking the air from one another's lungs.
Daniel broke the kiss, reaching down with a shaky hand, picking up the hair conditioner. "This'll work for now. Fuck me Jack. No matter whose cock you've got, it's still *you* doing the fucking." Daniel turned around, baring his ass to Jack. "And I want you to fuck me so bad...."
Jack took the bottle, squeezing some in his hand, sliding one finger inside his tight body. He heard the moan, whispering, "Is there pain Danny? It's been a long time since I...."
"No Jack, no pain. Want more...need more of you." Daniel began to ride back against the finger inside him.
Jack slipped a second finger in. "Did you know..." Jack breathed in Daniel's ear, "...that your cock has some interesting...interests?" Jack began to nibble Daniel's neck, knowing that that was something that turned *him* on. "It gets excited at the most inopportune moments."
"Uh, like when?"
Jack had to bite the inside of his cheek to stop his laugh. "Well, Feretti was in the cafeteria and bumped into me and...."
"Feretti?" Daniel's head whipped around, Jack taking the opportunity to kiss him on the lips.
"Just teasing babe." Jack deepened the kiss, adding finger number three. Finally coming up for air, he murmured, "Oh, and do you have a thing with Davis? Because he hit on me, thinking, of course, that I was you." Jack took his free hand, slowly stroking his own body's cock, smiling as Daniel began to moan again. "Good old Paul tried to grab my, uh, I mean *your*, ass." Jack squeezed the dick harder, shoved his fingers as deep as they would go, and Daniel gasped. "Found it," Jack chuckled.
Daniel caught his breath. "You know about me and Paul?"
"You and Paul? Don't be silly." Jack smirked. "There is nothing between you and Paul...except in his own mind. And after what I told him...." Jack let the sentence drown out, praying that Daniel would forget what he had started to say.
Daniel froze, moving one hand back, taking hold of Jack's hand, stilling it. "What did you tell him Jack? And does it have anything to do with what happened when you met him in the cafeteria, wearing my body?"
Jack was in no mood to cease what he was doing "Mmm, I'll tell you later." Jack nibbled on the lobe, blowing in Daniel's ear again.
Daniel took a deep breath. "Tell me now."
"Aww, baby," Jack whispered, kissing his way down Daniel's neck. "Okay. But only if ya let me keep doing this." He slid his fingers back in, spreading them apart, stretching his own body for what was to come. When he received a moan and a nod, he placed both of Daniel's hands on the towel bar. "Just hold on and enjoy the ride," Jack whispered. "See, it started when the cashier outed you to me."
"Outed me?" Daniel smiled at the phrase.
"Yes, Daniel. *Outed*. We talked for a few minutes and then Davis came over to grab my, your, ass. He asked me out, I said no, and he came over to my table." Jack shoved deeper, hearing another moan. "Somehow he got the impression that you and I were together. I never said a word."
"Jack, what exactly did you tell him? Oh yeah, that feels nice...he looked awfully scared when I saw him."
"I...well Daniel I was so shocked, and...."
"Jack...."
"Okay. I told him something like, if he didn't leave me, meaning you, alone, that I, or rather Jack, would gut him, and bury him so far in the mountains, that the body would never be found."
"YOU WHAT!!" Daniel tried to turn around, to give Jack a piece of his mind, but Jack shoved those long fingers deep inside, hitting that sweet spot again.
"Yell at me later, baby. For now, I need to fuck you, fuck me, whatever. Please...." Jack stroked the cock in his hand faster, gripping it harder, knowing, once again, just what *his* body liked. He finally let go, squeezed some of the conditioner onto his hand, stroked Daniel's cock, looked down at his own ass, ('Oh fuck, you have a pretty ass Jack,' he grinned to himself), and spread the cheeks wide. "Do you want it rough?" At the nod he got, Jack let himself go, moving hard, like an animal in heat, Daniel pushing back at him, trying to draw Jack deeper.
"Oh Jack...yes...yes...TAKE ME!!!" Daniel gripped the towel bar tighter, bracing his body against the wall, squeezing his muscles tight, drawing Jack deeper.
Jack reached around, stroking the weeping cock hard and fast, holding Daniel on his cock, grinding his hips. "Good, baby?" He got a grunt and a moan in reply. "That's what I want to hear." He shoved deeper still, finding that sweet spot, hitting it with each upthrust. "Ah Danny...coming...in me, in you...OH YEAH!!"
Both men exploded, Jack feeling the warm semen on his hand, Daniel's hands slipping from the towel bar. Jack slowly eased them to the floor, arms wrapped around Daniel, cock still buried, enjoying the warmth. "Was it good for you?"
Daniel felt the hardness inside him, slowly moving up and down.
"Danny...."
"Please Jack. I know my body, and I, er, you, are getting hard again." Daniel held the cock tight within him. "Please."
"Damn, Danny, right before I came in here, Hammond called. They got the doors opened, and we can change back."
"Oh," Daniel whispered the word, slowly easing off Jack, whimpering at the loss.
They stood, Jack pulling Daniel into his arms. "I love you, remember? No matter whose body you're in." A chaste kiss. "Although I must say, that is one fine ass you're wearing, Dannyboy."
Daniel grinned, turning Jack around. "You too, Colonel."
Jack watched as Daniel got his towel and began to dry himself, walking to the changing area.
Jack picked up his own towel, following. "You might want to wear some of *my* clothes." Jack pointed him to his locker, and he went to Daniel's, the two men getting dressed. "Ya know, the next time we make love, it'll be on our new mattress." Jack smiled at Daniel's look. "What?"
"*Our* new mattress?"
"Yeah, Danny, the one we're going to pick out tonight after we get...released."
"Jack, I...."
"Hey, do you think I fuck every linguist in the shower?"
Daniel had no answer for that, so they finished getting dressed.
"I do have these fantasies about ya."
"You have fantasies about me?" Daniel asked, eyes widened.
Jack put his arm around Daniel. "I'll tell you about them later."
They walked out the door and Daniel quickly put some distance between himself and Jack. Jack quickly pulled Daniel close, shoved him against the wall, and kissed him. Daniel's eyes stayed open in shock, even as Jack's tongue began to make love to his. He watched three people walk by, and no one took a second look. Jack finally broke the kiss, grinning like a lunatic. "Nobody cares, baby."
"Huh?"
Jack kissed Daniel again. "This is level twenty-six Daniel. If you have clearance to be down here, or lower, you forget what you see once you leave. Trust me on that." He began to fondle Daniel. "I could fuck you, or you could blow me, in the middle of the hallway, and nobody would blink." Jack kissed him again, backing him up to the elevator. He pushed the button, deepening the kiss as they waited.
"Jack," Daniel panted, breaking the kiss, "some of us *do* need to breath."
"Danny, when we get off the elevator, we will be on level nineteen. People up there only need level eight clearance. They may not be as...liberal-minded." The elevator doors opened, and Jack pushed Daniel inside, pushing the button for level nineteen. "We have about thirty seconds." He pushed Daniel against the wall, hands groping Daniel's ass, pulling their crotches tight. "Love you Danny." Jack dove in for another tonsil-sucking kiss, one eye watching the wall panel. When the light flashed for level twenty, Jack broke the kiss.
Daniel barely had time to catch his breath, and focus his vision, when the door opened to level nineteen.
Jack strode out, hands in his pockets, looking rather smug.
Both men took a closer look at the other.
"I didn't know my face could do smug," Daniel chuckled. "I look like the cat that got the cream."
"I didn't know I could look so...so...." Jack searched for the right word, "...debauched."
"Debauched, Jack? Somehow, that word just doesn't fit you."
"My face has that *just-fucked* look."
"Would you gentlemen mind telling me where you've been?" General Hammond asked, striding over to them, not looking very happy.
"Umm, General Hammond, sir. Jack and I...."
Jack interrupted. "I joined Daniel in the shower sir. Told him I loved him. Oh, and he loves me too." Daniel looked both mortified and terrified, and Jack grinned at those looks on his own face. "Ya know, I think I'm pretty cute when I'm nervous." Jack looked around, then leaned in, a soft kiss to Daniel's mouth. "Calm down sweetheart. George is okay with this. Trust me."
"You're on duty...*Colonel*."
"Sorry...*General*."
George sighed. "Wonderful. Now, I suppose you're going to want a toaster, or something sappy, as a...gift."
"A cappucino maker would be nice," Jack grinned.
"And just so you know, the SGC does not give time off for honeymoons," the general added.
"Can we get a weekend to go fishing?" Jack asked cheerfully.
Daniel stood behind Jack, looking at Hammond, putting his hands together in prayer, mouthing 'No, please, no.'
Jack smirked.
George nearly fell down laughing at *that* look on Daniel's face. But, of course, being he was the general, all he could do was smirk back. "You know Jack, I think that might be a good idea."
"Thank you sir." Jack gave him a crisp salute and George returned it.
"Ah, to have *Daniel* actually salute me," George bemoaned. "Oh, and boys?"
"Yes sir?"
"You *are* going to go to Abydos to inform Kasuf of your current...relationship...aren't you?"
"I didn't even think of that," Daniel said. He looked from the general to Jack. "He's gonna hate me. He'll think I'm gonna stop looking now, and he'll never see his children again and...ohhh Jack, what am I gonna do?" Daniel faced the wall, banging his head against it a few times.
Jack pulled him back. "You're not giving yourself, or rather me, a concussion, that's for sure." He smiled at the general. "We'll work it out sir."
"I'm sure you will," the general said, turning to head back to the lab.
"It'll be okay."
"Promise, Jack?"
"I promise Danny."
Daniel felt safe. He knew Jack would keep his word.
Five minutes later the two were in the lab, standing before Machello's machine. They smiled at each other, each taking hold.
Jack blinked, taking a deep breath, hoping that he was himself. The 'just fucked' feeling in his ass told him he was...and it felt good, really good.
Daniel held his breath, walking to the mirror, exhaling as he saw himself. "I'm me again."
Jack walked over, standing behind him, face peering over Daniel's shoulder. Slowly turning Daniel to face him, Jack cupped his chin, lifting Daniel's mouth to his. "No matter whose body you're in." He placed a kiss upon Daniel's lips.
Daniel abruptly pushed him away, facing George, Sam, Teal'c, and Janet. "I don't know what to say."
"Nobody cares Daniel," Sam shrugged, patting him on the shoulder.
Teal'c gave them a genuine grin. "Jaffa warriors bond as part of their training."
"It's about time," Janet nodded.
"See, Danny," Jack smiled, kissing him again. "I'm always right."
Jack and Teal'c then hefted the machine to the gateroom, where they took it back to Machello's lab. The address was then locked out of the computer. There would be no more body-switching at Cheyenne Mountain ever again.
And no one needed to know that Jack and Teal'c had smashed the machine to bits when they were on the other side of the gate.

Epilogue, one week later:
It had been a busy Saturday morning. Getting up at the crack of dawn on base, and heading to the embarkation room, the Stargate dialing Abydos.
Kasuf greeted them, sensing something amiss, guiding Jack and Daniel to his hut. Daniel opened his mouth to say something but Jack beat him to it.
"Daniel loves Sha'uri with all his heart," Jack said in crisp, clear, understandable Abydonian, much to Daniel's shock. "He doesn't want to betray this love, but...."
"He is a man," Kasuf nodded, "with needs. I understand, and so will my daughter."
"No, you don't understand," Jack shook his head. "I mean you do, but...Kasuf, Daniel...your adopted son, he and I, that is to say, we...."
Kasuf's eyes widened. "It is not another woman? It is you, O'Neill?"
"Yes," Jack replied, ready for a verbal sparring with the older man. "I love Daniel and he loves me. But that does not take away from the love he has for Sha'uri."
Kasuf nodded. "She said she sensed something between the two of you when we first met. And even I noticed how lost Daniel looked when you returned to your home."
"There was nothing between us then, Good Father," Daniel said softly.
"It's new to both of us," Jack added. "Daniel is afraid you're going to hate him." He looked at Daniel, whose eyes were welling with tears. "Aww, Danny, he doesn't hate ya." Jack pulled Daniel into his arms, holding Daniel's head to his chest, feeling the tears on his shirt. "He hasn't been sleeping much and he's...emotional." Jack rocked Daniel in his arms, uncaring of Kasuf sitting there. One hand stroked Daniel's hair, soothing him, while the other rubbed small circles along his back.
"Yes," Kasuf sighed. "Love can do that...even to men." He smiled. "I am impressed, O'Neill, with your knowledge of my language."
Jack smiled back. "Teal'c taught me. Better then Berlitz." He felt the body in his arms still, heard the soft sniffling, tilting Daniel's head up. "Okay now?" Daniel nodded. "You going to say anything?"
Daniel finally met Kasuf's eyes. "We *will* bring Sha'uri and Skaara home."
"I never doubted that, my son."
"You don't hate me? For my relationship with Jack?"
"No, Dan-yel, I could never hate you. You are a good man, and so is O'Neill." He paused, looking from man to man. "You will share my daughter when she is found?"
"What?" Daniel asked, sure he had heard wrong.
"Sha'uri. You and O'Neill will both be her husband."
Daniel began to spout Abydonian a mile a minute and Jack couldn't keep up.
Jack suddenly reached over, clamping his hand over Daniel's mouth. "Daniel! Slow down!" Daniel nodded, and Jack removed his hand. "I got some of that. Sha'uri being your husband, me being your...that's where I lost it."
"Dan-yel."
Daniel nodded, translating what Jack was saying.
Kasuf smiled. "It is a tradition. If your son has a lover, and takes a wife, both become her husband."
Daniel gritted his teeth, and turned to Jack. "He says that if you and I are lovers that's fine." Jack grinned at Kasuf, nodding. "And when we find Sha'uri, we both become her husbands. It's...tradition."
Jack nodded, then paused, letting the words sink in. "Daniel, are we talking menaige-a-troix here? I mean, I'm as kinky as the next guy but...."
"Jack! We'll talk about it later. I think we should go now." Daniel stood, as did Kasuf, the two men shaking hands.
Kasuf pulled the younger man into a hug. "You are a good son, my Dan-yel." He pulled away, facing Jack.
"We're going to find your children, Kasuf," Jack said, smiling softly. "I promise."
No further words were needed. Kasuf stayed behind as the two men headed to the gate, smiling as he watched them walk together. O'Neill placed his arm over Daniel's shoulder, pulling him close as they walked. Yes, his Dan-yel was very much loved. And they would find his children...of this he was certain. Everything else would work itself out over time.

Daniel lay in Jack's arms, satiated after round three of a very busy night. He snuggled into Jack's chest, whispering, "Jack, what's going to happen when we...."
"We'll deal with it when we find Sha'uri," Jack answered.
"How did you know....?"
"It's been on your mind, and the reason I know this, is because it's been on my mind also." Jack answered. "And I came up with a solution."
"I don't wanna give you up Jack," Daniel whispered, lips moving up to nuzzle Jack's neck.
Jack stroked Daniel's hair, reverently caressing it with his fingers. "Never gonna happen, babe. I figured that she and I can make a schedule. We can alternate Saturdays." Jack heard Daniel snicker, kissing Daniel chastely. "That's what I like, what I live for. I love it when you laugh Danny. You don't do enough of it anymore."
"I forgot what it was like."
"Well, maybe I can remind you...." Jack rolled atop Daniel, attacking his ribs. 'Yep,' Jack thought, as he listened to Daniel's sweet laughter, 'things are gonna be okay.'
